Textiles: Kilim n°2

Textiles Project is inspired by ethnic rugs, kilims, carpets and alike:
– on the one hand: symmetry, patterns, geometric shapes, puzzle-like compositions, fractal self-references, vivid and surprising palettes of colours, modern machine-like processing and repeatability,
– on the other: naïve forms, inaccuracies and imperfections, organic distortions, discolourations and damages, traditional craftsmanship with manual techniques.
